Climate Smart Ag – Future Ready South Coast

Empowering Farmers to Navigate Climate Change and Strengthen Natural Capital

Dam Enhancement Sites Wanted!

Are you a landholder with an unfenced farm dam?
An enhanced dam is fenced to exclude livestock then revegetated, providing a filter for nutrients, stabilising the banks, and helping reduce evaporation. An enhanced dam can improve water quality and stock health, improve water security, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase biodiversity.

Through this project there is provision for:
•             Fencing (up to 0.5 km)
•             Revegetation (up to 0.5 ha)
•             One alternative stock water point
•             Monitoring and advice

Register your Expression of Interest today, submissions close 30th November 2025.

Funding is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program and delivered through South Coast NRM.
