Landholders in the Oyster Harbour Catchment may be eligible for funding for fencing and revegetation of waterways under our Healthy Estuaries WA project or other funded projects.
Approved sites can receive a subsidy in the form of payment of invoices for fencing/revegetation materials or reimbursement of costs upon completion up to the rate $7,000 per kilometer. Landholders may be expected to make an in-kind contribution to the revegetation or fencing in the form of supplying machinery and/or labour to undertake erection of fencing or planting. The revegetation subsidy is usually in the form of payment for seed/seedlings or fencing materials. The selection of sites must be approved by the Oyster Harbour Catchment Group Executive Officer prior to commencement of works to be eligible for subsidy. A site inspection may be required.
