The Oyster Harbour Catchment Group is led by a dedicated committee of community members who represent a range of local interests. They are responsible for guiding and overseeing the delivery of Natural Resource Management (NRM) initiatives carried out by the group.

Bruce Radys Executive officer Bruce supports the OHCG committee with strategic direction, project development, and partnerships. With executive authority, he assists with operations and staff management. Since 2017, his expertise in catchment and revegetation has guided OHCG projects, including the Healthy Estuaries WA flagship project. Cassie Dressler PROJECT OFFICER Cassie joined OHCG in 2024 to lead projects on Western Ringtail Possum conservation and feral cat management. With degrees in Environmental Biology and Applied Geology, she spent nearly a decade in minerals exploration, gaining expertise in resource mapping, GIS analysis and remote fieldwork. Since then she has worked with the Gillamii Centre and gained experience as a WHS officer whilst volunteering in various organizations and running a small business. |
Natalie Reeves operations co ordinator Natalie joined OHCG in 2024 with extensive experience in waterways protection and project management, having worked with South Coast NRM and DWER. A resident of the catchment for over 25 years, she is an active community volunteer with extensive experience on nonprofit boards across youth, civics, arts, environment, education, and science. James Barr PROJECT OFFICER - CLAWS James joined the OHCG team in 2026 as the Cat Laws and Wildlife Survival (CLAWS) project officer. For the last several years James has worked as a zoological consultant and Licenced Pest Management Technician (LPMT) all over Western Australia. James holds a PhD in Behavioural Ecology and worked as a veterinary nurse for over 7 years. |
Lorna McDonald NRM Officer Lorna joined the team in 2025 to work across agricultural based projects. Lorna has qualifications in Biology and Environmental Management and over 13 years’ experience as an Environmental Consultant and Advisor in the resources sector. She has previously operated her own unique business utilising goats for weed control whilst volunteering for her local Bushfire brigade and enjoying the natural beauty of the region through art. |
