The Cat Laws and Wildlife Survival (CLAWS) working group began in 2019 as the Albany and Surround Feral Cat Working Group with the aim to raise awareness about the impact roaming cats have our wildlife, to promote responsible cat ownership and to reduce the number of stray and feral catts in the community. Driven by a team of dedicated representatives from wildlife organisations, animal rescue groups, cat owners, veterinary staff and the Oyster Harbour Catchment Group.
