Assistance Available 

Oyster Harbour Catchment Group has attracted millions of dollars of funding since 1992 through grants and partnerships with a range of organisations and programs. This funding goes towards on-ground works, research, awareness raising and education.

Sometimes these projects have the capacity to subsidies landholder activities that foster a diverse and prosperous rural, urban and natural environments and landscapes for present and future generations. For example: fencing creeks and remnants, revegetation (to buffer creeks, create wildlife corridors and mitigate erosion etc.), soil testing ectara. 

To be involved be any of our projects please become a member and contact us to see if there is a project that would fit your needs. Members are also able to borrow OHCG equipment such as fox traps, nature cameras etc.

  • The Australian Government Disaster Assist website provides information on financial assistance available for current disasters and information on previous disasters.

  • $3000 grant is available for farmers needing drought relief in Albany/Plantagenet Shires.
    Primary producers are eligible for this $3000 grant through St Vinnies. It is easy to apply and a quick turnaround to receive the grant.

  • Water Audit Rebate: Up to $1000 to check your farm's water supply coming into summer https://www.water.wa.gov.au/planning-for-the-future/rural-water-support/farm-water-supply-planning-scheme
  • Coles Nurture Fund: Australian producers can apply for a grant of up to $500,000 to help them develop new market-leading products, technologies and processes. Round 10 will open in January 2022.
