Landholders in the Oyster Harbour Catchment may be eligible for funding for fencing and revegetation of waterways.
Approved sites can receive a subsidy in the form of payment of invoices for fencing/revegetation materials or reimbursement of costs upon completion up to the rate $4000 per kilometer. Landholders are expected to make an in-kind contribution to the project eg supply machinery or erection of fence.
Revegetation subsidy is usually in the form of payment for seed/seedlings. Project sites including a site plan must be approved by Senior Project Officer Oyster Harbour Catchment Group prior to commencement of works to be eligible for subsidy.
