Seeking Committee Members for the Oyster Harbour Catchment Group
Oyster Harbour Catchment Group (OHCG) is seeking committee members to be part of a dynamic team with a passion for landcare and natural resource management.
About this opportunity: OHCG undertakes the responsibility of coordinating, encouraging, and facilitating best practices in Natural Resource Management to all stakeholders within the Oyster Harbour Catchment from farmers to conservation groups. We work with our community to value, protect, and enhance the natural resources within our catchment for the benefit of all including the generations to come. Committee members have the opportunity to access training that will assist them in understanding the responsibilities of their role within the organisation.
The role of an active OHCG committee member will include attending bi-monthly meetings from February to November each year; learning and being aware of landscape issues within the catchment, having oversight of the projects managed by the group, and providing input into planning for future group activities. There will be opportunities to become more involved in projects that interest you/reflect your experience.
